Do you love or hate living in Florida?

Thinking about moving from Texas to Florida to live closer to immediate family so they can spend more time with our 2-year old. We are thinking of Fort Lauderdale, or the Boca/Delray area (as that is where family is but I am not too sure about living there). Liked what I have seen of FL - please give me any pros and cons to living in Florida - things you love or hate about it - all insight is greatly appreciated as I am excited, but,
