How wise is moving from RI to Florida just because the weather?

Question by Relic: How wise is moving from RI to Florida just because the weather?
Me and my wife have stables jobs in RI, own our house, and in general we feel good about RI.
The problem is that we can’t stand the cold anymore. We just visit Florida and we loved to feel a weather of 76 degrees in December. Do you think that is wise to move to Florida just because of the weather?
