Coati mundi - tropical raccoon

Coati mundi are in the racoon family and supposedly found even in Texas and Arizona. Although cute, they have teeth that I wouldn't want sunk in me, at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo resort in the Riviera Maya of Mexico where this video was shot, coati mundi are abundant. At around 4pm they descend on the beach by the dozens for scraps given to them around the beach snack shack.
